Pepsi venderá 6.500 botellas de edición limitada

Brands with any kind of connection to the 1980s film franchise -as Pepsi- are going to take advantage of this cinematographic wink to associate their brand with the pop culture icon. Stun Creative is responsible for the campaign that introduces a limited edition of the film-themed soda Pepsi bottles. In the second film in the trilogy, McFly ordered a Pepsi, and he receives a futurist soda bottle. The beverage company will sell online only 6,500 16.9 oz of these bottles in collectible cases. Each one sells for $20.15. “The Back to the Future trilogy was as big a moment in pop culture history then as it is now, 30 years later” Lou Arbetter, senior director of Marketing for PepsiCo, said in a statement. “We are excited to be part of this moment and to bring fans something only Pepsi could deliver — and there’s no need to wait — the future is now!” As part of this campaign, they created the ad {Pepsi Perfect: The Future is Now;www.produ.com/publicidad/videos/index.html?noti=10034} with Davie Brown Entertainment production house. The spot can be watched on social networks and TV. Toyota and Nike, brands that also had part on the Back to the Future franchise, are expected to launch similar initiatives to also celebrate the film.
